Our Quick Story
zPods began with the mission of helping sleepless children around the world find better rest, mainly those that have been diagnosed with Autism and/or sensory processing disorders.
It all started back in 2019 when the founder of zPods, Gary Kellmann, had a son who is neurodivergent and would never sleep in his own bed.
However, Gary was determined to come up with a solution and this is where zPods was born.
Therefore, our main mission from 2019 to 2024 had been working with children like Ethan because that's where the most help was being requested.
zPods has seen success with 100s of Sleepless Children who were suffering as they were only sleeping 1-3 hours per night. After trying a zPod many now sleep 8-10 hours per night.
The Year 2024
However, in 2024 we received our first quote request from a Chief of Police who felt our beds could be helpful to their officers within their stations.
As a result, we started studying first responders and trying to get a better understanding of how zPods could be supportive in different environments to assist with recovery.
zPods can provide value in all first responder environments. Especially environments with long shifts where recovery is essential in between emergency calls.
